Saudi Arabia warns against raising political and sectarian slogans in Hajj

The Saudi Council of Ministers renewed on Tuesday its call to the pilgrims to perform the rituals of Hajj and take care of their brothers and the privacy of the holy sites and spirituality and stay away from everything that hinders the Hajj and especially stay away from lifting any political or sectarian slogans, stressing that such actions will not be accepted in any way The Minister of Information, Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabana, told Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, welcomed the pilgrims who began their journey to the Kingdom to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, asking God to help them perform the Hajj and accept them.

The Saudi monarch also urged the various governmental and private sectors to ensure the safety of all pilgrims and to provide security, stability, and tranquility to them and to improve the services provided at land, sea, and airports and in various facilities on the roads to the holy sites and holy places. It is our honor to serve all the pilgrims.
