The Ministry of Labor and Social Development started implementing new Unified Recruitment Contract in which recruitment office must receive domestic workers at the airport and give accommodation to them until their employer receive them, following the decision of making mandatory recruitment offices to receive all types of domestic workers (A, B and C) as of July.
The contract aims to provide professional accommodation services of high quality that meet the needs of domestic workers and recruitment offices must organize reception and accommodation for workers, meet the rights and entitlements for domestic workers.
The Ministry stated that the conditions and standards of accommodation for domestic workers to the recruitment offices: the housing must be in the same city in which the office, to provide the appropriate means of transport, and the building is easy to reach
by the clients and workers, providing parking spaces, and compliance with the requirements of civil defense and security and safety,
With the verification of the knowledge of the emergency exits, stressing the provision of amenities and ensure a healthy environment.
